Parliamentary Labour Party
I've been the Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East since 2010 – and I'm currently the chair of the Parliamentary Labour Party's Health Committee as well as a member of the House of Commons cross party Health Select Committee. I am also currently a member of the Joint Policy Committee of the NPF.
In the last Parliament I served as Shadow Europe Minister and Shadow Housing Minister. After the May 2015 election, I was Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government until September 2015.
