Mary Maguire is a member of the NPF on the Economy Policy Commission, elected by the Association of Labour Councillors. She has been a Councillor in the Labour controlled London Borough of Enfield since 2014 and is Chair of the Labour Group. Mary is former head of press and broadcasting at Unison. She is a member of Unison, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a life member of the National Union of Journalists.
Mary has been a party member for 40 years and has worked for the national party as press adviser at every general election since 1992. A seasoned trade union and labour movement campaigner, Mary is keen to promote the widest possible participation in the policy-making process.
