On February 08 2018 Debbie Abrahams MP, the Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, will be visiting Stoke-on-Trent Central constituency as part of her Pensions Roadshow.

Alongside Gareth Snell, Labour MP for Stoke-on-Trent Central, Debbie will meet members of the North Staffordshire Pensioner's Convention and local WASPI campaigners for a meeting and roundtable discussion.

The State Pension Roadshow launched in August 2017 has already been around many parts of the UK, including the Tees Valley, Bolton and Gloucester. This consultation will help to inform the work of the party’s wider policy development process through our National Policy Forum, and the Work, Pensions & Equality Policy Commission.

In the below link you can find the State Pension Consultation organised by the Shadow Work and Pensions team to hear your views on the State Pension, as well as develop policies to ensure dignity and security in older age.

Whoever you are, we want to hear from you. For instance, we want to hear from Labour members and people from pensions groups, trade unions, local authorities, WASPI groups and charities for the events

If you cannot attend one of the events or wish to make further suggestions following an event you can respond to this consultation by emailing [email protected], or make a submission through the Labour Policy Forum website.
